Each of the consultants within the SCQUARE International team has extensive operational and commercial management experience working in senior positions for leading multinational companies from a range of industries as well as training and facilitation experience across all management levels and functions.
Ross is CEO, co-founder and originator of SCQuARE, since it was established in 1993. A highly creative and energetic sales and marketing executive, he is the author of the business book 'Getting Everyone on the Same Page'.
Ross has taken SCQuARE to over 70 countries working with many of the worlds leading companies. He continues to take an active approach in the sales and delivery of SCQuARE programmes and live workshops along with the occasional conference speech.
In addition to SCQuARE, Ross has 25 years of international business experience in sales and marketing with FMCG companies including ten years with PepsiCo International, as Area VP in Europe and the Middle East, and previously at Nestle and Polycell.
Ross is married with three children. He is a passionate supporter of Crystal Palace Football Club and a lover of golf.
Paul is responsible for the worldwide delivery and development of SCQuARE training programmes and consultancy services by the SCQUARE International team and the management and administration of the company’s overall business.
Since 2000 Paul has worked with many of the world’s leading companies in over 60 countries and has facilitated and delivered hundreds of strategy workshops and training programmes. Paul has worked with the leadership teams in numerous major multi-nationals in Europe, USA, Africa and Asia running strategy workshops to formulate fool-proof plans.
Prior to joining SCQUARE International Paul spent 13 years working in Sales, Marketing, Operations and General Management roles for Grand Metropolitan, Allied Domecq and Tyco International.
Paul is married with three children and his interests are cinema, travel, golf and Newcastle United Football Club. He has a BA (Hons) in Politics and Economics from Durham University
Sri joined SCQUARE International as an accountant when the company was founded in 1993. He is responsible for the company’s office management and financial affairs.
Prior to joining SCQUARE, Sri held accountant roles in a leading shipping firm and an accountancy practice in London.
Sri is married with two children. He is an avid cricket fan and still supports Sri Lanka when they play England. He also manages youth cricket teams at local club and county district levels. His other interests are F1, badminton and clean cars!!!
Colin began his career as a market researcher and specifically in consumer insights and market trends. He established his own consultancy which worked nationally and internationally with the focus on translating consumer insights into marketing strategy.
Colin became part of SCQUARE International over 12 years ago and now manages the Australasian operation. He has held senior consultancy and Board positions within both the public and private sectors.
Matt has been delivering SCQuARE workshops since 2001 and now manages some of SCQuARE's largest clients in the Australiasian region. These clients span both private and public sectors and his work involves the delivery of SCQuARE capability workshops, SCQuARE In-Action strategic planning and consultancy for clients in relation to SCQuARE's ongoing application back in the workplace.
Matt has a Commerce degree from UNSW and has been with the organisation since 1997.
Prior to that Matt held various Marketing, Business Development and Strategic Planning roles with Philips Electronics and Xerox (UK).
As well as being responsible for external marketing of all our products Tracy manages some of SCQuARE's largest clients across several industries delivering training and strategy workshops. Her specific expertise is in the FMCG sector.
15 years international sales and marketing experience in businesses such as Procter & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, CPC Best Foods and Electrolux, combined with 4 years consulting in category management, give Tracy a robust business understanding.
Tracy's passion has been in Category Management and Consumer Insights and her strengths have been engaging Retailers in the Category dialogue. Tracy has trained different operational functions from Beijing to Buenos Aires and many places in between.
As a mother of three Tracy has very little spare time, but she is a school Governor at the local junior school and enjoys watching International Rugby and going child free shopping!
Sue is the Programme Coordinator at SCQUARE International; she is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all SCQuARE programmes held in the UK and overseas.
Sue started her career in the IT industry as a Programmer, Systems Analyst and finally as a Consultant before taking a career break to start a family. During this time, Sue ran her own Nursery School for five years.
Sue's personal interests include her family, travel, cooking and playing golf. She achieved a single figure handicap during her time as Ladies Captain for her golf club.
Eddie has worked for SCQUARE International since 1996 and is responsible for facilities management, transport and foreign embassy liaison.
Prior to SCQUARE, Eddie spent 25 years with BT as a senior technician, managing regional teams.
Outside of work, Eddie is married with two children and four grandchildren. Eddie is another lover of golf!
Alan specialises in strategic analysis and research having worked with SCQuARE to provide the analytical foundations for hundreds of live planning assignments for companies such as PepsiCo, Novartis, Unilever, Nestle, Coors, and Dunlop-Slazenger.
Alan started his career at Unilever with Research International. He then spent 8 years with PepsiCo International before moving to Laura Ashley as Chief Executive of Design & Buying.
On a personal level, Alan has varied interests, including Life drawing, creative writing, Personality Testing, growing hardy exotic fruit, Arts cinema, travelling and gym training.
As iSCQuARE and Digital Marketing Executive, Emily is responsible for all of the company marketing activities, the UK website, Social Media Marketing, corporate branding and literature. Prior to this role, Emily worked in sales and marketing for over 8 years including the world’s largest directory service and smaller digital marketing agencies.
Outside of SCQUARE, Emily enjoys travelling, walking her Border Terrier, and is a keen DIY and Interior Design enthusiast.
As Programme Administrator, Rebecca is responsible for managing the preparation and timely delivery of training materials for SCQuARE programmes.
Prior to joining SCQuARE International Rebecca worked in marketing, logistics and customer service in the baby and nursery products industry. Previous to that she was employed as a sales manager in the travel industry which she left after the birth of her first child.
Outside of work, Rebecca is kept busy managing a household of a husband, two children, three chickens and seventeen fish. She is passionate about travel and has visited every continent bar Antarctica, these days however she is more often found in the garden or blogging and tweeting in front of a laptop.
Harry retired from PepsiCo, Inc after 25 years with the company in December 2013. He most recently served as Vice President, Immediate Consumption for Frito Lay North America. Prior to repatriating back to the USA in 2011, he was Vice President, Sales Development of PepsiCo Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) from 2003-2011. Before moving to the International business, he was the Vice President, General Manager for the 7-Eleven PO1 team, one of the original three PO1 Team Leader pioneers. He joined PepsiCo in 1988 as Division Marketing Manager – On-Premise for Pepsi-Cola NA. In 1989, he moved to Michigan as Area Marketing Manager for the company bottling operation, then to Headquarters in 1992 as National Marketing Manager, assuming the position of National Sales Manager on C- stores for Pepsi USA in 1994.
Harry is a recognized leader in building sales capability, shopper marketing, customer management and category and revenue management programs.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, he was employed by Tracy-Locke Advertising on the Pepsi Bottling Group business, his last role as Account Supervisor for the Central Division. He has a BA in Advertising from PaceUniversity in NY. He is a native of New York, but calls Texas home.
He and his wife Carolyn have 2 children Samantha 22, and Jared 15. They reside in Plano, Texas. As a family they enjoy traveling while Harry’s passion is golf.
Julian has facilitated our communications skills programme, interACT, since he joined SCQUARE International in June 2012. He is an accomplished actor, presenter, theatre director & vocal coach.
Julian spent many years in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management both in the UK and Switzerland prior to becoming a professional actor/entertainer in 1985. In a parallel career he has over 25 years’ experience of training and coaching in effective communication & behavioural skills having worked with diverse organisations such as The National School of Government, Anglia Ruskin University, Sainsburys, NTL and The Royal College of Music. He is founding director of one of the UK's leading business role play companies.
Julian lives on a 57’ narrow boat moored on the Thames at Windsor where he enjoys messing about on the river & spending time with his grandchildren.
A Canadian by birth, with British roots, Mark has lived in more than 10 countries in his 22 years in marketing and consultancy. After graduating with a BA in Politics for the University of Victoria in Canada, Mark worked for Unilever in the UK and Asia in a variety of marketing and business development roles before joining SABMiller in Hong Kong as the VP Marketing Asia. After VP roles in China and El Salvador, Mark joined Riverorchid in Thailand, Asia’s first boutique agency (of which he was a founding member) and where he managed Slingshot, the group’s consultancy arm. Mark rejoined SABMiller for three years in the LatAm office in Bogotá, before becoming a consultant in 2010.
All this moving around has given Mark a global perspective on business and a pool of diverse experiences to draw upon. Mark has a particular interest in innovation and the challenges in building creative, sustainable business cultures.
Mark loves books and film, doesn’t play as much golf and tennis as he would like, and is an increasingly adventurous cook.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and proud of her roots in Popayan and Caldas, Claudia is an Industrial Engineer with a degree from Los Andes University. Claudia started her career in Quala, moving up through the ranks to hold senior marketing positions. After 3 years in Monsanto, Claudia moved abroad to get her MBA in Spain at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. After returning to Colombia she joined Diageo, ultimately holding the role of Marketing Director for Colombia. Claudia joined SABMiller as the VP Marketing in Panama in 2006 and subsequently held senior consultant roles in SABMiller's Latin American (Bogotá) and Global (London) offices.
Claudia’s 20 years in marketing have given her a deep understanding of different categories and market realities in Latin America, coupled with a track-record in leadership, training and facilitation. Claudia loves to work with teams and to help them to achieve their ambitions.
Claudia loves to travel, works hard to perfect her tennis backhand and is enthusiastically learning French.
Nanda has been involved in corporate training and academic lecturing since 1996. He delivers training throughout the Asia region and specializes mainly in improving thinking skills for the corporate sector.
He holds a Masters in Psychology and specialises in Mind-Intellect-Subconscious Connections of the human personality. His understanding of human psychology and character formation allows him to address his seminars in a very effective way.
Nanda is an active adventurer as well. He loves Jungle Trekking, Mountain Climbing, Camping and Caving, He regularly conducts team building events all for kinds of groups of people - from students to corporate staffs.
Nalini is a Chartered Accountant by profession, working as a Tax Consultant for over 8 years with the big four including KPMG handling corporate accounts.
Since 2005 she has been involved in sales and marketing of corporate trainings. She has done exceptionally well in building networks and connections with her clients.
She enjoys travelling, loves jungle trekking and mountain climbing.
Leng has Marketing experience in both local and regional roles. She started her marketing career at Unilever, then J&J, Dumex, PepsiCo. And lastly held the position of Marketing Director at Wyeth Nutrition, a business unit under Nestle (Thailand).
Narissa has experience in Marketing Consulting, Training, and Executive Coaching. She has worked as Product Group Manager at Unilever Asian Innovation Center, and later as a Marketing Director there also.
Narissa is a Certified Trainer from American Management Association, USA and also has consulting experience from APM Group.
Peter Francis has been a public speaker since 1990. He has presented and facilitated over 600 seminars, training courses and conference speeches on a wide range of topics, to audiences from five to 200. Successful world tours have taken in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the US and Canada. More recently he has lead teams of trainers to Germany and Bulgaria to work with an international pharmaceutical company.
In association with the Royal Bank of Scotland Peter developed a series of breakfast and half-day training courses which were rolled out across the UK as part of a successful customer retention programme.
Through this broad experience Peter has created inspiring speeches for delivery from a conference platform. They include: “The Preparation Principle” and “11 Pillars of Success”. Both of these speeches are uplifting and entertaining.
Peter has designed some unique leadership, management and communication skills training courses. These can help anyone in business gain confidence and further their career. The communications courses help attendees who need to present material to an audience, no matter the size, more effectively and with greater impact. Using appropriate skills, including leading edge NLP techniques, Peter helps individuals to present material with precision and confidence.
Peter has a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming and has trained for Television and Radio presentation.
Wendy is fluent in several Chinese dialects - including Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka and also speaks Bahasa Malayu.
Prior to joining SCQuARE, Wendy was a Client Relationship Manager at Kepner-Tregoe (KT) where she reported to the Practice Leaders and led a team that predominantly focused on developing business for South East Asia and Greater China. She oversaw various KT skills development workshops. She also worked on many large-scale assignments for KT clients including Shell, Western Digital and British American Tobacco.
Wendy was also the founder of two startup companies which means she has a deep understanding of the organisational challenges businesses face. In addition to this, she was involved with Hampshire County Council to supporting the children's services department as well as helping some vulnerable families with Home-Start UK.
She enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. Wendy attended the University of Central Lancashire, where she studied International Business.
An accomplished management consultant and trainer who brings insight from commercial experience gained on both the Buying and Sales sides of the table.
Giorgio has spent fifteen years working for leading consultancies, most notably for The Gap Partnership, where he developed and delivered numerous negotiation programmes for managers of many of the best companies in the world. He gained extensive international experience, especially in Italy, his native country.
His prior commercial experience was honed in Sainsbury’s and Superdrug’s buying offices, and at Energizer UK, where he headed up the multiples’ sales team.
This rich combination of commercial, consulting and training experience enables him to help clients with a very wide range of business and development challenges.
In his spare time, Giorgio is a keen cook, a runner and loves travelling with his family.
Having led and developed commercial functions in both Europe and Australia in his FMCG career, Jez above all enjoys the challenge of nurturing talent and building customer relationships in diverse trading environments. Starting out as a graduate trainee at Procter and Gamble, he has been Sales Director for Unilever in Central Europe uptil 2003, and then successively for two of Nestle’s divisions in the UK and France, before taking on roles as Business Unit Director for Brakes/Sysco and as Chief Customer Officer for Fonterra in Australia. Back in the UK since 2014 he has led the sales, marketing and buying units of Palmer and Harvey and the commercial team of Natures Way Foods, as well as being a Non Exec for Reach/Acosta UK.
Jez also runs a property business as both an investor and developer based in Brighton, where he lives with his Czech wife and young son. He continues to play 11 a side football with much enthusiasm but little else.
With over 20 years’ experience across all commercial functions in blue chip organisations such as MARS, Britvic and Pepsico Nicola is a business leader that has led organisational and cultural change. She has developed and implemented commercial and brand strategies that have delivered profitable growth on global brands such as Pepsi and 7-UP and led the Walkers brand to market leadership in Ireland.
Prior to joining Scquare International Nicola worked in Travel Retail for eight years as the Global Strategy and Marketing director for Aer Rianta International. As a member of the executive team she was responsible for developing the corporate strategy and leading the corporate and consumer marketing, insights, category management, digital and E- Commerce functions.
Her breadth of commercial experience combines with excellent analytical and influencing skills and a proven track record in successfully coaching and motivating teams.
Nicola first trained with Scquare when she was at Pepsico in 2006 and has been an advocate/fan ever since. She has introduced the Scquare programme into subsequent organisations and is often heard to say “Have you scquared it” before reviewing plans. She delighted to be working with us on delivering the model.
Ex- PepsiCo and Novartis, Anna is a commercial strategist, enthusiastic problem solver and a doer. She has a strong, international track record in helping leadership teams create customer-centric strategy to drive brand value and growth.
Anna is Polish, speaks 5 languages and has vast international experience, having managed her own successful marketing advisory firm serving world’s leading Life Sciences companies for the last 15 years. She lives with her Dutch husband and 2 sons in Brussels.
