East African Breweries Limited had been wrestling with the perennial yet complex and challenging issue of how to reduce the cost of producing a barrel of beer. We ran a SCQuARE & BREAKER strategy workshop with them in July this year to help to generate new ways of looking at and thinking about existing challenges within the brewing , distribution and procurement processes to enable the team to generate valid new ideas previously unthought of, thereby creating the potential for substantial savings .
